Black Stone Cherry at Kulturfabrik > Cancelled

Januar 27 @ 02:00 - 23:30

Unfortunately, and for reasons beyond Kulturfabrik’s control, Black Stone Cherry’s concert planned for January 27, 2017 has been cancelled.

Official press release :

It is with great disappointment that we have to announce that we will be unable to play the scheduled shows in Europe in January-February 2017 and have, therefore, had to cancel all of those dates. Several personal reasons have arisen that will require the band to stay close to home during that time period. Unfortunately, we cannot be more specific, but please understand that we did not come to this decision lightly. It was a very difficult step to take for us and our team. We have never had to cancel this many dates before and are sorry to have to disappoint our AMAZING FANS across Europe. We are working now to find a new window of time for us to come and perform in Europe again in the near future. Thanks to all of our European fans for their incredible support and
understanding!

All tickets will be refundable at the point of purchase.

Fiery Southern rockers Black Stone Cherry originally hailed from a small rural town in south central Kentucky. According to the band members, the lack of anything to do in their hometown, coupled with a rich musical background in their community and families, led them to start playing music.

Their self-titled debut album was released in July of 2006 on Roadrunner, followed by “Folklore” and “Superstition” in 2008. It performed well on the charts, both in America and across Europe. The band’s third album, 2011’s “Between the Devil & the Deep Blue Sea”, was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Howard Benson (Daughtry, Three Days Grace). It peaked inside the Top 40 of the album charts in their home country, and hit the top spot in the UK.

Fourth album, “Magic Mountain”, was released in May. After American and U.K. tours, the band took a break in early 2015. The self-produced album “Kentucky”, which Black Stone Cherry called a back-to-the-roots affair, was released in April of 2016.
